Welcome to my Author Page – “Encouragement for the Journey”.

This Page is created with the intention of providing value and encouragement, as well as spiritual food for thought with practical application. I want to be able to bring inspiration, joy and blessing to your life! This world needs the hope of Jesus now more than ever and this Page, especially my Blog, will point to Him with every post. The way I write is to listen for His voice and then the words flow out of me. If I think too much about what I am writing and take my eyes off Him, the flow stops. It’s taken a while to trust this process and it is a continual source of wonder and amazement to me. As so beautifully put in Psalm 139:14, we are all fearfully and wonderfully made by a Creator who loves us beyond what we can imagine and who has gifted each of us with unique and special talents. All the glory goes to Jesus because He created me to write.

I am an introverted extrovert – loving my space and quiet time but also loving to connect and engage with people. I am interested in people from all walks of life – and I believe that everyone has a story to tell. My own story has many chapters so far and I’m hoping there are many more to come. I write about life through the eyes of a follower of Jesus.

Before I accepted Him into my heart I lived a life that had a lot of pain and sadness in it, including an abusive marriage. Today my life is completely transformed from those dark days and I am so grateful for every moment that I am given. I owe this all to Jesus.

Besides my love for Jesus and my family (I have two beautiful daughters) and friends, I also love to cook! I am a “thrower” as in I love to take ingredients and throw them together, creating a taste sensation that is nourishing and comforting. I am aiming to get healthier as I get older and my favourite exercise is walking in nature. Reading is a big passion of mine and I read every day. I feature books on my Blog that I have read and found to be inspiring and encouraging. If you have a book that you think I might like to read, please reach out to me!

I am so excited at the prospect of journeying with you and getting to know you better. I love to receive your feedback and emails and will reply to you as quickly as possible. No question or concern is too big or small.

Live life with gratitude and with full awareness that each moment is precious and unique. You are precious and unique!

God bless you!

Love, Meredith

“Yet, my precious child, know this - that you are made in My image - you are part of Me, part of the body of Christ, you are my chosen, cherished, justified, sanctified, forgiven masterpiece. And as part of Me I complete you; as part of Me you are designed for rich and deep relationship with Me. I have made you unique with giftings and temperament, personality and appearance that is totally one of a kind. Yet you are created to be in relationship with Me and were never meant to be alone. I designed you to be celebrated as My creation, as part of Me. I celebrate your birth unto Me dear child! And I have a plan for you that is designed to prosper you in every way imaginable and far beyond what you can know at this time.”
